Currently working as Associate Vice President – Finance & Accounting Solutioning & Transitions, with Quatrro BPO Solutions, in Gurgaon, India.

Areas of responsibility include –

 Solutioning & Transitioning of Finance processes from across the globe for entire range of finance offerings like Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Financial Planning & Analysis, etc.

 Involving onsite visits to the customers across the globe to understand and translate client needs into a solution framework.

 To develop the Transition Plan for the project as per the roadmap

 Detailed planning of Transition Costing and execution to ensure savings for the assigned engagement

 Define Service Level Agreements (SLA)along with the operations team

 Working with the commercial/legal/operations team for preparation of the MSA and Statement of Work (SOW).

 Being involved in the pricing, BCP/DRP discussions with client

 Risks & Mitigants Analysis – Project & Process

 To manage the deliverables from different teams (Operations, Tech, HR, facilities etc) and to ensure a successful transition.

 Transition progress tracking, reporting and communication management

 Support in the winning and transition of new deals. Support identification and development of new business opportunities

 Client Liaison and management of client relationships in support of the above

 Budget and resource planning in line with the Transition plan

 During this stint with WNS, I was based out of UK leading a 100+ FTE transition for processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Call Centre, Banking, Bank Reconciliations, HR, Payroll, etc. The processes went live in April’07.

 Was involved in preparing the entire transition solution, pricing, IT and transitioning the entire processes back to India.

 Responsible for the UK onsite knowledge transfer of approx 60 WNS resources

Areas of responsibility included –

 Transitioning of Finance processes from across the globe for various services like FP&A, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, etc.

 Involving onsite visits to the customers in US and Europe to understand and translate client needs into a solution framework.

 To manage the deliverables from different teams (Operations, Tech, HR, facilities etc) and to ensure a successful transition.

 Assessment of Current SLAs / SOPs and prepare minimal service disruption strategies while getting the SOPs created in the absence of any.

 Client Liaison and management of client relationships in support of the above

Thrust areas of work as a Financial Analyst for GE Healthcare, USA included the following –

 Liaising with Global Operations and Marketing team to develop the budgets (Quarterly, Mid-Year and Annual).

 Executive quarterly close and global reporting.

 Monitor on a monthly basis the worldwide Sales and Contribution margin and report out to US Corporate along with variances vs. plans and the reasons for the variances.

 Quarterly pitches to the US corporate.

 Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to impact global reporting.

Areas of work included –

 Liaise with operations to develop the budgets (Quarterly, Mid-Year and Annual)….3 budgets a year.

 Execute month-end financial close and reporting.

 Monthly and Quarterly reporting to Corporate and US headquarters of Profit & Loss A/c and Balance Sheet with detailed analysis of variances.

 Profitability statements for the entire range of products…Personal Loans, Consumable durables Financing, Auto Loans, Two-wheelers, Home Equity, Home Loans, Cash Card & Credit Cards.

 Provide decision support to operations and senior management with financial analysis.

 Monitor spending and prepare variance analysis to forecast and outlook.

 Pricing for new products, projects, etc.

 Develop, track and evaluate cost improvement initiatives.

 Track and analyze key performance metrics.

 Analysis of deviations of monthly actuals vs. plans and reporting out to management.

 Management reporting.
